Abstract Abortion

Abstract Abortion (Final Year Project)

With abortion being a hushed topic in Singapore, many untrue negative stigmas formed especially by older Singaporeans have gone uncorrected. The real experience of it also goes unaddressed, leaving most people in the dark as to what the struggles are truly like for women in abortion. There are many inadequacies in the process of abortion, such as how expensive clinics and doctor counsel sessions are, as well as the medical procedures not equipping the women mentally. This creates even more trauma that is not properly taken cared of.

The Abstract Abortion Projects hopes to unify Singaporeans with an open mind and heart; appealing for the old and young generations in the family to realise false stigmas together and learning to forgive and support women in abortion during their time of need, while raising funds to advocate for better medical trauma care to be provided by abortion clinics and hospitals.
